One of Charlyn’s favorite places in Antique is the Calawag Mountain.  Tucked away in the municipality of Tibiao, this crystal-clear stream is surrounded by verdant forests and offers a refreshing retreat from the tropical heat. The cool, invigorating waters of Calawag have a calming effect on Charlyn especially with its famous kawa, making it the perfect spot for her to relax with a good book and immerse herself in the tranquility of nature.

Another destination next to her bucket list is Mararison Island. Located off the coast of Culasi, Mararison is a small island known for its rolling hills, powdery white sand beaches, and breathtaking sunsets. The island’s serene atmosphere and unspoiled beauty make it a favorite weekend getaway for Charlyn. 

For Charlyn, the natural landscapes of Antique are not just visually stunning—they also serve as a reminder of the importance of preserving the environment and maintaining a harmonious relationship with nature. The province’s scenic beauty has deepened her connection to the land and reinforced her commitment to environmental conservation, a value she hopes to instill in the younger generation through her work.
